Look into getting an office, but when looking into getting an office, it is important to know if you want to be leasing the office or if you want to purchase an office space. Having a great space to work from will give you more productivity, especially if it is an office space that you and your potential team feel comfortable working in. finding the right office is also investing into your agency as you are providing a great environment for it from the start. 


When setting up success, you must also factor in what the needs of your staff are going to be. Within reason, you want to attend to their needs so that your agency can prosper with the success that it will bring in. ensure that you also set a budget in place for your business. Allow yourself to only spend what is necessary. Set business goals that you want to be achieving. Setting goals is another great way to succeed. The more goals you have, the more motivated you will be to reach them. Goals can be what motivate an office, and if you have goals you aim to reach, you will see more success over time. 

Once you have set the plan in motion and your business is up and running, ensure that you make time to learn as much as you possibly can from others. Learn from your mentors, listen to what they have to say. Take everything that they teach and find unique ways to incorporate what they tell you into your own personal way. Gather yourself a great leadership team and build on what they have to teach you. 


If you do not already have a mentor, find one and try to learn from them as much as you possibly can. If the opportunity is there, try to meet with them at least once a week. Learn what works for them, what does not work for them while also trying to find your own solution as to how to make what did not work for them, work for you. Learn about their success, how they got to where they are at and try to duplicate their success as well. 


When dealing with your carrier, learn everything that can from them and their products to ensure the best results when dealing with their products. You should know everything that there is to know about them and their products, and not only that but you should also know the type of demographic that they market to. Many agents do not take the time to learn all of this, and it hurts their agency in the long run. By taking the initiative to learn everything that you can about your carrier, you are guaranteeing to set yourself up for success. Learn everything that they are doing, stay up to date and all the current news and updates regarding them while also learning about what their competitors are doing as well.


Use technology to your advantage. In today's society, we are very advanced when it comes down to technology and the way we go about certain things. Use social media platforms to get your name and your brand out there. Explore your options online, see what works for you, what does not work for you, which social media platform would be the best for you. Obtaining a following online is a good way to reach out to more potential clients, therefore bringing in more business towards your agency. You have a personal computer with you that you can carry with you in your pocket at all times, you can use that as an advantage to post news or updates whenever, wherever.
